Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Float

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry who is ready to take on a 15-week contract. The ideal candidate will float across various acute care and telemetry units, demonstrating proficiency in both care delivery and teamwork.

Job Details

• Start Date: 10/12
• Shift: 3-12 hour shifts, Nights, 1900-0730
• Duration: 15 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in telemetry and acute care settings.
• Float between different units as necessary, including Behavioral Health and Respite.
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5.
• Display proficiency in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Perform high-volume peripheral nerve catheter procedures on orthopedic floors.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Telemetry or related areas; first-timers are not accepted.
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIH
  • Pass/Fail fill-in-the-blank telemetry test
• Weekend Requirements: Flexibility to work every other weekend is necessary.
• Licensure: Pending licenses accepted.

Scheduling & Availability

• Must work all scheduled shifts as the facility cannot accommodate requests outside of approved RTO.
• No holiday RTO is permitted for Christmas. Additionally, travelers must work two holiday days (eve/day).
• Not open to accommodating block schedules; flexibility is essential.

Additional Information

• Daily onsite parking costs: $15 for Days M-F, $4 for Saturday/Sunday all day, $5 for Evenings, $4 for Nights.
• Offsite parking is available for $10 per day, with a shuttle service running Monday to Friday from 5 am to 10 pm.
