Aerospace Assembler / Soldering Technician

Location: Redmond, Washington

Pay: $24 to $26 per hour (plus 15% shift differential for 2nd shift)

Shift Times:

• 1st Shift: 5:30am - 2:00pm (Monday – Friday)
• 2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm (Monday – Friday)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Aerospace Assemblers and Soldering Technicians to join our electromechanical assembly team, specializing in the aerospace industry. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a leading aerospace organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical and electronic systems and components.
• Perform precision soldering and assembly work on circuit boards and control panels.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and trade-specific equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Support R&D efforts by reviewing new manuals and participating in training.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in the shop.
• Mentor and assist in training new technicians.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Skilled in using measuring instruments and standard hand tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Basic understanding of motors, pneumatic valves, and lighting systems.
• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and comprehension).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in soldering and electronic assembly.
• Experience with circuit board repair and wiring.
• Experience working under a microscope for detailed soldering tasks.
• Prior experience in the aerospace industry.
• IPC certification(s) is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in a light balancing room is a plus.

Work Environment

You’ll be working in a regulated aerospace production environment, focusing on cockpit-related circuit boards such as control and switch panels. Attention to detail and adherence to industry standards are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redmond, WA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.90/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Redmond,WA.
