Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to join our dynamic team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in various medical conditions, including those in isolation due to COVID-19. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitor vital signs and manage patient care in a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Demonstrate proficiency in using Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR for medication administration, documentation, and communication. Participate in the care of patients requiring multi-level care, including stepdown services. Be prepared to work within Storm and Hurricane Teams during catastrophic events, mass casualty situations, or disasters. Participate in daily classes and complete a 24-hour unit orientation to familiarize with protocols and procedures. Float to other units as required and adhere to weekend work schedules as needed. Qualifications BLS certification is required. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Charge experience is preferred. Must successfully pass EKG Testing prior to the start date for this specialty. Work Schedule The position involves 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Contracts for 36 or 48 hours per week are accepted, with the possibility of longer contracts available through February 2026. Dress Code Scrubs must be navy in color.
