HR SpecialistOur client is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join their team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has previous experience supporting manufacturing operations. This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact while building a long-term career with a growing organization.ResponsibilitiesSupport daily human resources operations including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR complianceCoordinate recruitment activities including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with hiring effortsMaintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulationsAssist with new hire orientation and onboarding programsServe as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, and HR proceduresSupport performance management processes and employee development initiativesPartner with managers on employee relations matters and workplace concernsAssist with leave administration, workers' compensation, and other HR programsGenerate HR reports and maintain confidential personnel informationHelp support a positive workplace culture and employee engagement effortsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred3+ years of human resources experienceManufacturing industry experience strongly preferredKnowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practicesExperience with onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and recruitingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive informationProficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
