Quality Assurance Specialist

Job TitleThis role provides operational support to the Academic Advising department.Essential DutiesProcess all registration, audit, and withdraw requests in an accurate and timely manner.Review and communicate with advisors and students regarding TCC's Course Program of Study guidelines.Respond to the Academic Advising email and hotline for generic advice.Process major change requests accurately and timely.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, student personnel counseling, or a related field.Demonstrated Academic Advising experience.Ability to synthesize complex cognitive information for a variety of sources to reach a conclusion.Ability to continuously monitor and observe instant messages, phones, and communication systems.Ability to interact with a computer and relevant software for extended periods of time.Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Banner ERP.Preferred QualificationsHigher Education experience.3 years Academic Advising experience.BenefitsTCC values our employees by providing a benefit package as a significant component of your compensation package.Our benefits have been designed to provide important protection for you and your family in the case of illness, injury, or even death.
