Description: Seeking a strong caregiver who can support the AM shift. Must be flexible working weekends. First-timers are accepted. The position may require floating to mother baby. Local candidates are welcome. RTO must be included at the time of submission. Guaranteed hours are subject to call-offs once per two-week pay period. Daily census ranges from 210-257 births per month. The facility has a total of 356 staffed beds. Unit details include interdisciplinary support from respiratory services and pharmacy. Candidates should have experience with low and high-risk labor patients, including antepartum with multiples and hypertensive disorders. Special procedures may include circulating and recovering cesarean sections and blood transfusion. Ideal candidates should demonstrate competency in monitoring, assessment, and care for both laboring patients and newborns. This role requires the ability to perform various nursing skills and use specific medical equipment effectively. Completion of non-billable modules is expected prior to starting and annually thereafter. References are required covering the most recent year of experience. Candidate submission must disclose any relevant background information upfront. All travelers are expected to float between facilities within a designated area. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
