Role Description The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is a full-time, on-site position located in Pearland, TX. This role is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including triage, assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patient responses. Daily responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, coordinating diagnostic tests, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans. The nurse will respond to emergency situations, manage critically ill or injured patients, and ensure timely, accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. The role also involves patient and family education, support during high-stress situations, and participation in quality and safety initiatives within the ER. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Emergency Nursing and Critical Care Medicine for managing acute and life-threatening conditions. Strong foundation in Nursing and Medicine to perform accurate assessments, interventions, and clinical decision-making. Experience providing comprehensive Patient Care, including monitoring, education, and advocacy in fast-paced environments. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain), with BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS and/or TNCC certifications preferred; prior emergency department or critical care experience strongly beneficial. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, prioritize multiple patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive, trauma-informed care.
