Job Summary As an Assistant Property Manager, your day is heavy on administrative duties, sprinkled with moments of training, sales, and customer service. You support the Property Manager and the entire team, managing resident records, collections, leasing assistance, and customer service. Responsibilities Maintain accurate resident records and update them daily. Manage and encourage electronic payments through the Resident Portal. Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contribute ideas to the Property Manager for financial success and improving resident satisfaction. Utilize interpersonal skills and deal effectively with persons from diverse backgrounds. Maintain professional resident communications via verbal and written methods. Mentor and assist the leasing team and serve as the “go‑to” person. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and existing residents and team members. Qualifications At least two years of experience in the apartment industry. Experience managing people (preferred). Ability to adapt to new technologies. Basic understanding of a property budget.
