An urgent opportunity is available for a part-time pharmacist to support a long-term care facility in the Oklahoma City area. This contract role offers a flexible schedule with 16 to 24 hours per week over an 8 to 13-week duration, providing valuable hands-on experience in a specialized care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle checks to ensure medication safety and compliance
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, drug interactions, and contraindications
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize patient medication therapy
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory standards throughout shifts

Schedule:

• Days are flexible within Monday through Friday
• Typical shift: 9 AM to 5 PM, working 2 to 4 days per week

Qualifications:

• Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License is mandatory
• Prior pharmacist experience, particularly in long-term care, highly preferred
• Ability to start immediately and commit to the contract duration
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
