JOB SUMMARY The Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home. The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.60 - $20.96 USD. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment. Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment, durable medical equipment, oxygen equipment, and other equipment/services approved by state licensure limitations. Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle. Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed during regular business hours and on an on‑call basis. Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick‑up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel. Maintains supply component of patient profiles. Notify supervisor if any of the following items is discovered in the patient's home: Physical abuse of any family member Home environment is unsafe for the care ordered, such as unsanitary conditions or insufficient food for children Animals in the home that cause unsanitary conditions Clean and assist with the repair of equipment. Perform routine vehicle maintenance including checking gasoline, oil, tire pressure and brakes. Report malfunctions to supervisor. Perform other duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required. At least one year related experience is required. Age and Driving History: Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire. Minimum of three years driving history required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations: Successful completion of Apria Healthcare’s Driver Training Program. Must meet job‑related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A. and accrediting body standards. Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal). PHYSICAL DEMANDS The role requires frequent standing, walking, carrying, pushing or pulling objects ranging from 10 lbs to 100 lbs, and performing tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling and climbing stairs. The employee must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, and must use hands to write, operate a vehicle, and use a computer and telephone. Vision and hearing requirements include close and distant vision, night (low to limited light) vision and the ability to operate a vehicle and read documents. Frequently required to lift 10–100 lbs, push or pull 20–60 lbs, and perform activities that involve talking and hearing. STEEL FACTORS Additional physical activities include climbing stairs up to 100, occasional ladder use up to 10 ft, bending down to a torso level of 24”, reaching an average of 20” from the body, kneeling and squatting, and handling objects 1” to 36” high. Strength requirements include lifting up to 100 lbs and gripping up to 15 lbs of force.
