Location: AL36 – Saraland Pay Rate: Up to hourly Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Interview Process: Microsoft Teams Top Required Skills Knowledge of transportation modes: Ocean (LCL, FCL) Air Road Rail Special equipment shipments Hazardous materials shipping compliance: IATA IMDG DOT U.S. export regulations and country-specific import/export requirements Preparation of international shipping documents: Commercial/customs invoices Packing lists Certificates of Origin Free Trade Agreement documentation Bills of Lading Certificates of Analysis Export documentation: Export Declarations Shipper's Letters of Instruction (SLI) Other required export paperwork Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to prioritize and work with urgency Comfortable presenting to senior leadership Strong accountability and responsiveness Decision-making skills in uncertain situations Responsibilities Analyze and develop logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory Create and review distribution and inventory management procedures Maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs Coordinate shipments and support global logistics operations Ensure regulatory compliance for international transportation Experience Level Entry-level to early-career role 0–2 years of related experience Associate degree or equivalent preferred Works under supervision with established guidelines and procedures Ideal Candidate A candidate with foundational logistics, shipping, or supply chain experience who understands international transportation and export documentation, has strong organizational skills, and can work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
