Quick Facts Location: Rockville, MD Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 03/08/2027 Shift: Monday - Friday, with call coverage (evenings, weekends, holidays) Hours/Week: At least 10 shifts/month, 8 am – 5 pm call shifts Employment Type: Full-time locum Required Licenses/Certifications: MD License, DEA, CSR, Board Certification in Radiology Experience: Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Travel: Full travel expenses paid, close to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $4,680.00 Pay Package: Discussed upon application Weekly Pay Schedule: Via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical coverage (W-2) Competitive pay with holiday and after-hours differentials Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable law Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Perform vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures including joint aspirations, vascular ultrasounds, thyroid biopsies, CTA studies, lumbar punctures, vein mapping, and dialysis grafts Read (remotely) vascular and CTA studies from affiliated medical centers Provide patient rounds, specialty consults, and manage post-procedure care Respond promptly to STAT emergent cases (response within 15 minutes, exam within 60 minutes) Float between multiple locations and provide coverage during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced environment What You Need Required: MD license in Maryland Board Certification in Radiology DEA and CSR licenses Minimum 3 years IR experience Preferred: Experience with vascular ultrasounds, thrombin injections, and interventional procedures Ability to work independently and remotely interpret imaging studies About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Rockville, Maryland, providing specialized interventional radiology services in a collaborative environment.
