Applications Engineer

As a world‑leader in this field through Trane® and Thermo King, we are seeking an Intelligent Services Account Engineer (ISAE) to help clients optimally manage energy usage and drive measurable reductions. Responsibilities Gather and analyze data, trends and charts to develop customer‑facing documentation. Work with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and develop a site’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Diagnose energy opportunities and provide projects that solve customer issues. Aid the acquisition of pull‑through work and assist in meeting or exceeding the customer’s goals. Perform remote site analysis via web access as needed. Lead regular Technical Strategy Review meetings for each Intelligent Service Agreement customer. Assist with transition/onboarding of new contracts and support existing contract execution management. Qualifications Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Engineering Technology or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) or more years of HVAC industry experience performing project management or estimating; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Familiarity with operation and design of HVAC Systems, Building Automation Systems, and/or Temperature Controls. Preferred familiarity with new construction, renovation/retrofit, performance contracting, and service project management. Knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office. Experience with a drafting / design program. Preferred understanding of industry standard protocol and requirements for integration. Understanding of IT infrastructure and network architecture. Ability to travel to construction sites within the district; must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with a clean driving record. Compensation and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $91,516.66 – $128,379.99. Compensation Type: Salary. Incentive Eligible: Yes.
