Physical Therapy Assistant

Day Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Assignment Details

This is a travel position with a mix of outpatient and inpatient care. Holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Amiable personality with sound judgment and an empathetic attitude towards patients.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs developed by the Physical Therapist to assist individuals in improving their quality of life following injuries or health issues.
• Consider patients' gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs during treatment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required.
