Location: IHS Facility in Browning, MT 59417
Shift:

• 3x12-hour shifts per week

• Day or Night shift available

• Weekend coverage will be needed but you are off during the week if scheduled.

Contract Length: 3 months to 1 year
Estimated Start Date: Pending Award and Completion of Credentialing Process

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $

• Travel weekly stipends (If applicable): $,246

Benefits:

• Health and Welfare: $/hr (Up to 40 hours worked per week)

• PTO: 5 days after 6 months, an additional 5 days at 1 year of service

• Accrued sick days: 1 hour for every 36 hours worked

• 11 Paid Holidays: Following the Government calendar throughout the year

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide quality inpatient nursing care in an IHS healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will support patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.
Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred

• 2 3 professional references

• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills

• Ability to meet IHS credentialing and background requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients

• Assess patients, monitor changes in condition, and implement appropriate interventions

• Administer medications and treatments safely and monitor patient responses

• Develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, and discharge instructions

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR

• Follow IHS, infection control, patient safety, and nursing standards
