Land Use and Zoning Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Land Use and Zoning Associate in Uniondale, NY. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for candidates with 0-3 years of experience in land use and zoning matters. The role involves providing legal counsel and handling various tasks related to land use and zoning. Duties Conduct legal research and draft documents. Prepare applications and permits. Attend meetings and present applications at hearings. Provide legal counsel to clients on land use and zoning matters. Requirements Background in Real Estate Law; zoning experience preferred. Strong research and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Education Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the bar in New York State. Skills Prior experience or internship in land use and zoning law is a plus. Completion of Land Use and Zoning courses during law school is advantageous.
