Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $3140 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 24 months (2 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have NICU experience within the last year.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Newborn and other pediatric experience preferred.

Required Credentials: - Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible to take NBRC written examination.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. - Reliable transportation is required; public transportation is not accessible in this area. Personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended. - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November-April.

Unit Details: - Covers all age groups, including ICU and ED floors. - Uses Pyxis. - RT manages ventilators.

Shift & Scheduling: - Scheduled Monday to Sunday; minimum every other weekend, with schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs. - Travelers must work 2 of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. - Usually 36 hours per week, with potential for more. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Floating to Med/Surg, ED, and Birthing Center at Porter Medical Center as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
