Production Control Manager

Role Overview As a Production Control Manager, you will manage and incorporate planning, purchasing, customer service, and continuous improvement activities to support corporate and department rivet operations strategy. You will distill business requirements into a defined schedule for the operations team, ensuring customer demand is met on time and serving as the main point of contact for internal customers regarding product availability. Responsibilities Directly manage production scheduling for SPR Rivet Operations. Interface with project management, engineering, sales administration, and operations planning to maintain a master build schedule for all rivet products. Assist all areas and functions within Syspro, including PM scheduling, inventory control, and daily production reporting. Support capacity studies, global packaging, responses to customers, and Syspro maintenance. Ensure accurate and timely orders to SPR Product Company UK. Lead and support continuous improvement projects within the company. Set priorities between competing interests to minimize customer impact. Work closely with buyers and production schedulers to define and maintain production schedules and forecasts. Collaborate with the Production team to ensure products are built in a timely and efficient manner. Manage inventory accuracy, including WIP and raw material discrepancies. Schedule overtime with the Production team when necessary. Delegate tasks to the production scheduling team accordingly. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment (high volume preferred). Experience with forecasting, inventory, and capacity study. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with working within an ERP system (SAP, Syspro, or similar). Ability to analyze data and produce metrics to track performance. Four‑year degree in business administration, material management, supply chain management, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered). Computer literacy for most workdays.
