Concrete Senior Estimator 

Southern CA Region

The Opportunity

• Target project profile: large-scale tilt-up warehouse and distribution facilities, 250,000–1,000,000+ SF along with multiple segments across Southern California region. Other project types include data center, office, healthcare, DOT and slab.
• Established relationships with top-tier national and regional GCs active in the Southern CA market
• Fully integrated self-perform operations including in-house finishing - quality controlled from start to finish

What You'll Do

• Prepare complete and competitive bid proposals for tilt-up concrete scopes
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings using OST and Bluebeam
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and overhead cost models
• Coordinate with the Preconstruction Manager and leadership on bid strategy and go/no-go decisions
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and GC interviews as required
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and owners in the SoCal market
• Assist with value engineering and scope clarification during preconstruction
• Maintain organized bid files, estimate logs, and follow-up tracking
• Support project handoffs to the PM team upon award

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of estimating experience with a concrete subcontractor - tilt-up experience strongly preferred
• Technical expertise in tilt-up panel construction with the ability to communicate clearly to field staff
• Strong proficiency in OST (On-Screen Takeoff) and Bluebeam - required
• Solid understanding of tilt-up panel systems, CIP structural concrete, and flatwork scopes
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings with accuracy
• Experience using construction bidding platforms (Building Connected, iSqFt, or similar)
• Detail-oriented with strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of the Southern CA subcontractor market and material pricing a plus
• GC-side candidates with strong tilt-up estimating experience will be considered
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
