Bilingual Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations at a fully onsite manufacturing facility. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will serve as a key resource for employees while supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.

The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This person will have the opportunity to introduce new processes, improve existing workflows, and make the role their own while helping bring employees together and strengthen the culture at the facility.

Key responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and company programs; supporting recruiting efforts, including job postings, resume reviews, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication; coordinating with temporary staffing partners regarding staffing requests, assignments, onboarding, timekeeping, and invoicing; processing employee changes and maintaining accurate HR records and HRIS information; coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system entries, and orientations; assisting employees with benefits enrollment, changes, leave questions, and payroll discrepancies; maintaining accurate and confidential employee files, HR databases, and HRIS records; supporting compliance efforts through audits, reporting, and documentation in accordance with federal and state employment requirements; assisting with employee relations by documenting concerns and facilitating communication; preparing recurring headcount, attendance, and other HR reports; and participating in HR process improvements and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications include 3+ years of HR experience, a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, bilingual in Spanish/English or English/Somali, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, ability to handle confidential employee information professionally, comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite manufacturing environment, experience with HRIS systems; UKG experience preferred, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and manufacturing experience preferred.

Additional details include a fully onsite position, a manufacturing environment with multiple shifts, training will be provided alongside the current HR Manager, this role will interact regularly with employees across different shifts, and candidates should be comfortable periodically adjusting their schedule to support shift employees.
