Automation Tester UST is searching for an Automation Tester who will design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases. Responsibilities Develop automation scripts using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium and REST API frameworks Contribute to all the testing phase activities as per the release plan Participate actively in sprint Agile testing activities Learn and apply AI based testing tools for smarter execution and defect analysis Execute functional, regression and E2E tests. Learn and apply execution techniques leveraging shared frameworks, cloud platforms Learn/build understanding of Telecom domain workflows Follow QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices Qualifications Level Digital T-Life Automation: Selenium / Playwright, REST API Intermediate Hands‑on: 1‑3 years Understanding of digital flows (login, browsing, ordering) Programming Language: Java / C# / Python / Typescript Intermediate Hands‑on: 1‑3 years Exposure to Mobile, Web testing (1-2 years) SQL knowledge Beginner: 1‑2 years Test Grid / Tosca automation (Beginner: 1‑2 years) Gitlab, CI/CD tools Beginner: 1‑2 years Mobile automation: Appium (Beginner: 1‑2 years) Manual Testing Expert: 2‑4 years Test Management tools: JIRA, Qtest Expert: 2‑4 years Analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Location & Compensation Role Location: Hybrid-Texas Compensation Range: $51,000 – $77,000 Benefits Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
