Overview Registered Nurse, PCU – Travel assignment in Columbia, MO. Start August 10, 2026 for a 13-week assignment. Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12 nights. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to step-down/PCU patients, with float to other units as needed
• Monitor patient status and vitals; administer prescribed medications, including vasoactive drips; titrate as required
• Manage lines and vascular access (IVs, PICC/Central lines, A-lines) and related devices; dialysis fistula care
• Cardiac and airway care: obtain 12-lead ECG; sheath removal; cardioversion/defibrillation readiness; CPAP/BiPAP; Trach care
• Specialized therapies: Epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, wound VAC; ensure patient safety and accurate documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• ICU and PCU experience with ability to float to related units
• Proficiency in IV insertion, PICC/Central line management, vascular device access/care, and A-line management
• Cardiac skills: obtain 12-lead ECG, sheath removal, cardioversion/defibrillation
• Airway management capabilities: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach care
• Ability to work in a high-acuity inpatient setting with floating as needed
