Opportunity Details

Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Monday Friday 7a-4p or 8a-5p rotation
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Specialty: Colon and Rectal Surgery
Hospital Info: Trama Level 1
Team Size: 5
Teaching Opportunities: Yes Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
Call Requirements: Equal distribution based upon the needs of the group

Requirements

Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement
APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA license
BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

Providing direct patient care
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Participating in teaching and mentoring
Documenting in Epic EMR
Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
Supporting community health efforts
