Weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per contract). May float to long-term acute care or other units to manage med-surg patients. Highlights: Work in a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation hospital specializing in stroke, orthopedic surgeries, brain injuries, and debilitated patients requiring comprehensive recovery services Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop individualized care plans Access to advanced rehabilitation technologies, state-of-the-art therapy equipment, and evidence-based practices Supportive environment emphasizing family involvement, patient education, and transitional care planning 13-week travel assignment with competitive compensation and comprehensive support services Orientation provided with 12 hours of onsite training Requirements: Active Texas RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of application) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS Epic charting system experience required LTAC experience preferred; charge nurse experience preferred Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 or higher Skills in IV management, blood product administration, central line care, wound care, tracheostomy management, and rehabilitation nursing Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing Why Join Us?
