Medicaid Billing Clerk

To support efficient revenue cycle operations, the full-time Medicaid Billing Clerk will manage billing activities, prepare claims, and ensure accurate receivable balances while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage weekly billing activities and invoice submissions, including correcting and resubmitting claims Reconcile billing activities and payments, preparing reports based on Medicaid billing data Perform collections and follow up on delinquent payer remittances, escalating denial trends as necessary Required Qualifications Related Bachelor's degree preferred or 1+ years of related experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing Knowledge of medical billing terminology and proficiency with medical billing and clearinghouse systems Relevant medical billing or coding certification preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with high data entry accuracy and speed
