Posting Details Job Posting Information Job Posting Number S620 Position Title Enrollment Services Coordinator Class Title Staff Regular or Contingent II Regular (PIN) Desired Start Date FLSA Exempt Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000 Open Date 05/01/2024 Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Duties and Responsibilities The Enrollment Services Coordinator will assist theDirector/Assistant Director of Enrollment Services with managingthe daily operations of the work within enrollment services and theone stop Provide professional and confidential administrative support tothe Enrollment Services team. Works closely with the enrollmentservices leadership team to create and maintain trainingmaterials Manage the day-to-day operations of Enrollment Services (OneStop) and the work of the enrollment services specialists,including mentoring, training, and coaching the team regardingcustomer service. Provides leadership to a team of enrollmentservices specialists and disseminates timely updates and criticalinformation to staff and partners Ability to analyze processes and procedures, problem solve andthink critically. Recognize common threads in the customerexperience and facilitate conversations regarding improvement Ensure enrollment services staff are providing consistent,accurate information to enrollment services (one stop) visitors andthe university community Serve as a higher-level escalation point for dissatisfiedvisitors and the university community or visitors with complexenrollment circumstances Represent enrollment services (one stop) by participating oncross-functional committees, to develop and manage assigned officeprocedures, training, and data integrity Sensitive to cultural diversity and recognizes personal biases toinform appropriate responses to culturally diverse situations,demonstrating a commitment to equity and inclusion, and respectfulinteractions with persons of diverse ethnic, cultural,socio-economic, and educational backgrounds (ability to communicateand interact effectively with people of all ages andidentities) Possess beginner to intermediate knowledge of and skills withtechnology including software programs for communication, datacollection, student information systems, and customer relationshipmanagement ( CRM ), including but not limited to PeopleSoft,Microsoft Office/365, Student Financial Planning, ImageNow,Monday.com, Zendesk, Ocelot, QTrac, etc. Export reports and evaluate to make data informed decisions aboutoffice staffing, recommended changes, and other departmentinitiatives Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Education A Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience Two (2) years prior higher education work experience preferred,specifically within a student services office (e.g., admissions,bursar/student accounts, financial aid, housing, registrar,retention, etc.) Excellent oral and written communication skills, with theability to communicate effectively, clearly, concisely, andprofessionally Research and troubleshooting skills Must be able to meet expectations in a fast-paced,customer-oriented environment Highly motivated, focused, and results-oriented Knowledge Skills and Abilities Superior customer service skills and philosophy Positive attitude and professional demeanor Manage data using a variety of applications Communicate and interact effectively with people of all agesand identities Report to campus and other university events as needed (someevenings and weekends may be required) Work independently and collaboratively with the ability toprioritize tasks and adjust to the needs of the department,division, and university Other Please be advised, COVID -19 vaccinations are strongly encouragedbut not required for eligible faculty and staff employed by BowieState University.
