Senior Manager, Trial Surveillance & Analytics (Hybrid)

Senior Manager role within a newly formed Trial Surveillance & Analytics center of excellence. Leads end-to-end data science solutions for clinical trial safety and efficacy signal detection, combining statistical depth with AI expertise to deliver adopted tools and analytics products.
Responsibilities
- Frame surveillance problems with stakeholders and design solutions for adoption and impact
- Design and build data pipelines integrating clinical trial databases for safety and efficacy monitoring
- Lead standardized analytics across studies to detect emerging safety and efficacy signals
- Develop dashboards, applications, and self-service tools; drive adoption and measure usage
- Apply generative and agentic AI throughout the analysis workflow; mentor team members and represent function cross-functionally
Requirements
- MS with 8+ years or PhD with 4+ years in Statistics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, or related field
- Production-level programming proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and version control systems
- Demonstrated experience applying generative or agentic AI with measurable analytical results
- Working knowledge of clinical trial data standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM) or real-world data sources
- Track record of building and driving adoption of analytical tools by end users
- Strong communication ability explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
