The Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant (PA) position is within the Primary and Specialty Medicine Service Line. Duties include chronic disease management, preventative health care and evaluation of episodic acute illness to a predominately male population. Functions or scope of assigned duties:Assesses and documents medical history, diagnosis, and plan of care.Initiates, orders, and evaluates plans of care for a panel of outpatient clients.Provides follow-up exams for mediation management and monitoring.Provides patient/family education regarding disease process, risk factor, symptom control, and treatment (including use of medication).Consults with other providers and multidisciplinary team.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmTelework: Not AvailableVirtual: This is not a virtual position.Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not AuthorizedPermanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized
