Optimal Home Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Burnsville, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in In-Home Support (IHS) — training is provided, so no prior experience is required! If you have a heart for helping others and want to make a real difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home support (IHS) services to clients in the Burnsville area
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care, hygiene, and grooming
- Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Accompany clients to appointments and community activities
- Monitor and document client well-being and report any changes to supervisors
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients and their families
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's unique needs
- No prior caregiving experience required — paid training is provided
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to client care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
