Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Surgery

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Surgery (Day Shift) in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Location: Saint Petersburg, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: This position offers a day shift from 06:00 to 16:30, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Surgery will provide care in a fast-paced surgical environment, focusing on the needs of patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. Attention to detail and strong clinical skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient education regarding post-operative and ongoing care.

Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular surgery or a related clinical setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure: Active RN license in Florida is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
