Sailor is looking for a Porter to join the team of our newly opened restaurant in Fort Greene, Brooklyn , helmed by Chef April Bloomfield.
We’re a small team that makes delicious food in a beautiful kitchen alongside kind people. We are looking for like minded individuals to help us clean, organize, and maintain the restaurant.
Qualified candidates are timely, dependable, and have a good attitude. They have basic knife skills and the ability to help with food prep. The best candidates have an eye for detail, fulfill their tasks completely, and are great communicators. Most important for this role: the ability to maintain a clean and organized restaurant. Receiving and storing deliveries is part of the job and requires one to routinely lift more than 50 lbs. We have plenty to teach for those who love to learn!
