What you will do here:  

As our Global Assist Advocate at Seven Corners, you will provide global crisis, medical, and transportation support to our policyholders. Our Global Assistance Advocate will have the ability to work an overnight schedule, thrive in an agile environment, and have a high sense of urgency to serve as a comforting voice for those away from their home during a crisis. Collaborative working relationships with internal departments, policyholders, and providers is required to maximize effectiveness and response time for providing quality care to our policyholders. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Coordinate and collaborate closely with our Customer Service, Global Assistance Coordinators (clinical staff), Medical Directors, and Claims team(s) to ensure optimal service and quality care for our customers. 
• Provide exceptional service and hospitality to every customer 
• Great interpersonal communication skills. 
• Assist our customers with urgent and sometimes complex medical situations 
• Support our Global Assistance Coordinators with initial triage of calls/cases and follow-up support 
• Take ownership of your work, and see tasks through to completion 
• Demonstrate proficiency in all Seven Corners systems 
• Thoroughly understand all of our assist policies and procedures 
• Know where to find answers to your questions and what resources are available 
• Ability to manage high volume of work with exceptional organizational and time management skills with a high sense of urgency and accuracy 
• Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information 
• Drive to work in high pressure situations 
• Welcome new tasks with a great attitude 

What you bring to the role:  

• Ability to focus on details without losing sight of the overall vision, including monitoring and double-checking your work and information for accuracy and quality to ensure all areas of a case are accounted for. 
• Demonstrated ability to utilize sound judgment and discretion through handling confidential policyholder or case information and navigating ambiguity. 
• Proven ability to triage medical circumstances, analyzing policy parameters, and providing recommendations to improve policyholders’ quality of care. 
• Prior accountability for monitoring evacuations and case history to ensure quality, and develop best practices, and lessons learned. 
• Proven understanding of insurance operations to effectively communicate policy benefit parameters, case and claims status to policyholders, providers, and internal department team members. 

Ideally You Have:   

• Bachelor’s degree preferred 
• Customer service experience 
• High moral character to serve as a guardian of our policyholders. 
• Deep innate interest in making a difference and to help others.
