Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing sections of construction estimates including the soliciting and evaluation of subcontractor bids and scopes of work, preparing quantity take-offs, reviewing project plans and specifications for all categories of work. The Senior Estimator must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

• Responsible for posting of addenda
• Collaborate with the Estimating team to resolve request for information
• Manage vendor solicitation
• Coordinate initial Subcontractor contacts
• Lead quantity take-offs
• Updating or posting of plans and specifications (in-house and in online subcontractor planroom)
• Generate and manage tab sheets
• Create tab sheets for subcontractor quotes and bid leveling that encompass complete scope of work
• Manage pricing as directed, specifically self-perform
• Work with the Project Director and project team to create bid packaging documents
• Writing of scopes of work

• 5+ years of industry experience in estimating and/or preconstruction
• Knowledge and efficiency in construction industry software
• Desire to learn and grow

• Bachelor's Degree- Construction Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent
