Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to obstetric and postpartum patients, including immediate newborn care
- Monitor fetal status and maternal vitals, administer medications, manage IVs, and perform standard nursing assessments
- Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum activities; support mom and baby from pre-delivery to postpartum
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and document care in the electronic medical record
- Manage med-surg patients if OB census is low; support safe transfers and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care basics

Requirements
- Active RN license (in good standing)
- OB/L&D nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced OB/L&D care setting
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Willingness to provide med-surg coverage if OB cases are lower
