PerfusionistWe are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Perfusionist to join our esteemed healthcare team at a well-respected organization. As a Perfusionist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional cardiac support during surgical procedures, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality patient care.Responsibilities:Set up and operate the heart-lung machine and other related equipment during open-heart surgeries and other cardiac procedures.Monitor and maintain cardiopulmonary functions of patients during surgery, adjusting equipment and parameters as necessary.Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety throughout the procedure.Administer medications and blood products through the heart-lung machine as directed by the healthcare team.Provide specialized support during organ transplant and other complex surgical procedures.Assess and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and respond to emergencies promptly.Monitor and record patients' physiological data during surgery, documenting relevant information accurately.Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated with advancements in perfusion techniques and practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Perfusion or related field.Certification as a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or equivalent certification.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Perfusionist in a hospital or healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, perfusion techniques, and equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the surgical team.Attention to detail and ability to remain focused in high-pressure surgical environments.Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous professional development.For immediate consideration submit a resume or.MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc
