Database Architect

Job Title: Database Architect - Expert Task ID: HBITS-07-14842 Position Duration: 30 Months Client: State of NY Agency: OTDA Please call | | or email at Description The candidate of this position will be responsible for, but not limited to: Participate in meetings to understand data needs and communicate updates on data status. Maintain detailed logs of data management activities and issues. Stay updated on company data policies, compliance requirements, and best practices. Learn new data management tools and technologies as required. Complete all assigned tasks. Assist in documenting data sources, definitions, and lineage (data dictionaries, metadata). Execute complex queries (using SQL or similar) to extract data for reports or analysis as requested. Ensures that project goals/objectives are met. Mandatory Qualifications 1 Bachelor's Degree 2 84 months experience in designing logical and physical database models. 3 84 months experience designing oracle databases including triggers and packages 4 84 months experience in performing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) techniques and flagging any failures. 5 60 months experience with SSIS design and development 6 60 months experience using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) 7 60 months experience in in SQL programming including writing complex queries utilizing JSON in Oracle. 8 36 months experience with participating in meetings to understand data needs and communicate updates on data status. Maintaining detailed logs of data management activities and issues.
