Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This position operates on a night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, with guaranteed weekly hours of 36.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The ideal candidate will possess strong fetal monitoring skills, effective emergency response capabilities, and experience in postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart rates and other vital signs during labor
• Assess and manage labor progression
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding labor and delivery processes
• Respond promptly to emergencies and perform necessary interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Required certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, BLS
