A growing and comprehensive Interventional Radiology program in Arlington, Virginia is seeking a collaborative and clinically strong Interventional Radiologist to join its team.

This is a full-time, hospital-based position providing inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology services. The program offers a broad and diverse case mix, strong procedural volume, advanced imaging technology, dedicated support staff, and opportunities to participate in continued program growth.

The IR team works closely with oncology, vascular surgery, hepatology, nephrology, trauma, emergency medicine, and other surgical specialties to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Oncology

• Image-guided biopsies
• Tumor ablation
• Y-90 radioembolization

Vascular

• Peripheral angiography and stent placement
• Thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• AV fistula and graft interventions
• IVC filter placement/removal
• Embolization
• TIPS

Non-Vascular

• Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
• Nephrostomy
• Gastrostomy and gastrojejunostomy tube placement
• Myelogram

Women's & Men's Health

• Uterine artery embolization
• Prostate embolization
• Hysterosalpingography (HSG)
• Fallopian tube recanalization

Pain & Musculoskeletal

• Bone biopsies
• Joint and spine injections
• Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty

Neuro Intervention

• Neuro-interventional procedures preferred
• At least one physician on the team will support stroke intervention in collaboration with neurology

• Full-time, hospital-based IR position

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
• Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR)
• Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Strong clinical and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Patient-centered approach
• Interest in multidisciplinary care and program development preferred
• Neuro-interventional skills preferred

Compensation Range: $250,000 $552,240 annually
