About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer to join their team. This key senior leadership role is accountable for all aspects of project development and construction, with a focus on utility-scale major renewable and capacity projects. The successful candidate will lead the national Power Development team, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from conception to commercial operation. This includes budget management, staffing, procurement, HSEQ, and commercialization, ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role also involves fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and leading a high-performing team of energy professionals. Candidates for the Chief Development Officer position at the company should have a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field and be executive leaders with a specialization in the development and management of complex, high-value, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. Significant experience in engineering and construction within the energy industry, as well as a deep understanding of project finance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks, are essential.
