About Us:
- Oversight and Quality Assurance:
- Supervise and ensure the quality of all clinical services, including record-keeping and direct care.
- Audit clinical charts for compliance with county, state, federal statutes, and payor guidelines.
- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA requirements and other documentation standards as required by regulatory agencies.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead a multidisciplinary clinical treatment team and staff meetings.
- Provide supervision, performance evaluations, and progressive discipline plans for clinical staff.
- Oversee clinical organization structure, program scheduling, and task delegation.
- Training and Development:
- Provide and coordinate clinical training for staff on mental health and clinical topics relevant to client services.
- Promote continuous improvement and evaluate program effectiveness regularly.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with medical staff, including nurses, nurse practitioners, and the Medical Director, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Facilitate weekly staff meetings to align treatment plans and service delivery with organizational objectives.
- Direct Client Care (as needed):
- Conduct screening and assessments for substance use disorders.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support clients in overcoming alcohol and drug dependency.
- Facilitate groups and document client participation.
- Offer crisis and supportive counseling as required.
- Regulatory and Accreditation Compliance:
- Ensure clinical services comply with accrediting boards, payor guidelines, and county, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
- Maintain compliance with patient medical records and established policies.
- Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (required).
- Licensed as a mental health professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of practice (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience in providing training and staff development.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
