Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Farmington, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.34 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSat05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and/or incident documentation. Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders while supporting security-related operations at the location. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
