We are seeking an experienced Facilities, Asset & Project Manager to take companywide ownership of physical assets, facilities, maintenance systems, and capital projects across a growing multi-unit hospitality portfolio .
This is far more than a traditional maintenance position. The successful candidate will be a strategic, hands-on operator who can build systems, manage vendors and contractors, oversee capital projects, control spending, and drive accountability across multiple properties throughout Alaska.
The portfolio includes a diverse mix of:
- Restaurants
- Lodging and resort properties
- Employee housing
- Production facilities
- Warehouses
- Corporate and support facilities
- Multiple properties across Alaska
What You'll Do
Facilities & Asset Leadership
- Take ownership of facilities, building systems, and physical assets across multiple properties.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance standards and procedures.
- Build and maintain effective CMMS and work-order systems .
- Establish complete asset registries and property-condition scorecards.
- Develop asset lifecycle strategies and evaluate repair vs. replacement vs. capital investment decisions.
- Respond to urgent operational and facility issues when needed.
Capital Projects
- Manage capital projects from scope development through bidding, construction, and closeout .
- Develop project budgets, timelines, controls, and reporting.
- Manage contractors, vendors, bids, change orders, and negotiations.
- Monitor project performance and ensure work meets operational requirements.
- Develop annual capital plans and long-term capital roadmaps.
Financial & Vendor Management
- Manage operating and capital budgets.
- Develop forecasting and budget discipline across facilities and projects.
- Establish vendor standards, performance expectations, and accountability.
- Negotiate contracts and bids to maximize value and control costs.
- Clearly communicate project costs, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.
Building Systems & Operations
Oversee and evaluate commercial building systems, including:
- HVAC
- Refrigeration
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Life safety systems
- Generators
- Commercial kitchen equipment
- Other critical building and operational infrastructure
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in facilities, construction, property, engineering, or asset management.
- Strong multi-site or multi-property experience .
- Proven experience managing commercial building systems and critical equipment.
- Demonstrated success managing capital projects from planning through completion .
- Strong experience with budgets, bids, contractors, change orders, and vendor negotiations.
- Experience building or implementing preventive maintenance and CMMS/work-order systems .
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and capital planning.
- Ability to evaluate repair, replacement, and investment decisions.
- Strong executive communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable conducting hands-on property inspections and responding to urgent operational issues.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between properties throughout Alaska .

Experience within a multi-unit restaurant, hotel, resort, hospitality, food-production, or similarly asset-intensive organization is highly valued.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is not simply someone who manages maintenance tickets and calls contractors .
We are looking for a leader who can build the infrastructure around the company's assets —creating systems, standards, accountability, and long-term capital discipline.
You should be comfortable moving between strategic planning, executive communication, property inspections, vendor management, and urgent operational problem-solving .
