Sauté/Grill Line Cook| Little Mama's ItalianWe are seeking an experienced Sauté/Grill Cook with a background in high-volume, scratch kitchens. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in consistency, and has a passion for Italian cuisine.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and execute sauté station dishes including pasta, sauces, and entréesControl cooking temperatures and timing to ensure quality and consistencyPrepare all food prep required for the stationManage multiple orders in a high-volume environmentCoordinate with other kitchen stations for efficient servicePlate dishes according to restaurant standardsMaintain proper mise en place and station readinessMonitor inventory and restock station as neededFollow all recipes, food safety, and sanitation guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized workspaceQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchenStrong understanding of sauté techniques and professional cooking methodsAbility to multitask and work efficiently under pressureStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to stand for long periods (8+ hours)Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAvailability to work weekends and holidaysKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsWhy Join Our Team?Competitive earning potentialClear path to management (most shift managers are promoted from within)Flexible schedulingOpportunity to grow within one of Charlotte's top restaurant groupsApply TodayIf you're ready to grow your culinary career with a respected and expanding restaurant, we'd love to meet you!
