Position Summary:
The purpose of this job/position is to support the mission of the university by maintaining the cleanliness and
general appearances of the buildings on campus. Maintains cleaning equipment and makes minor repairs and
adjustments. Contributes to energy savings by turning off lights as needed and making sure buildings are
secure with doors closed. This position may work a schedule similar to Sunday-Thursday 9:00 pm-5:30 am.

Required Qualifications:
Oregon Driver's license is required to drive state vehicles on campus to empty trash, setups and move


chairs, furniture, etc.
Must be able to read, understand and follow University writing policy and staff handbooks; State of


Oregon health codes; machine operations manuals; applications instructions/manuals for cleaning
solutions; Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), building policies; cleaning and sanitation procedures
and directions.

Must complete annual Bloodborne Pathogens training.
