Job Description

We're hiring Class A CDL Drivers for a local refrigerated grocery delivery position based in Shelbyville, Indiana . Enjoy daily home time, competitive pay, consistent freight, and newer automatic equipment while staying close to home.

Drivers with at least 6 months of recent Class A CDL experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay & Compensation

Average Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,400+
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Mileage pay plus:
- Stop Pay
- Load Pay
- Detention Pay
Performance-based mileage increase after one year
Sign-On Bonus up to $7,500 (paid in installments based on performance and tenure)

Home Time & Schedule

Home Daily
Average 8-hour shifts
Start times between 4:00 PM and 2:00 AM
One weekend day off each week
One floating weekday off during non-peak season
Average 1–2 stops per day

Job Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer
Deliver refrigerated grocery freight to customer locations
Use a pallet jack and assist with unloading as needed
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain DOT compliance and accurate logs
Deliver freight safely and on schedule

Equipment

Late-model Freightliner and International tractors
Automatic transmissions
Day cabs
Outward-facing safety cameras
APUs and inverters
Electronic logging devices (ELD)

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Must be at least 21 years old
No endorsements required
Must meet DOT and company hiring standards
Ability to assist with unloading freight using a pallet jack
Must live within approximately 60 miles of Shelbyville, IN
