LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established professional services organization to identify a Direct Hire Billing Operations Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting and finance professional seeking to join a collaborative environment that values accuracy, client service, and operational excellence. The Billing Operations Specialist will oversee the full invoicing lifecycle, maintain billing records, ensure compliance with client agreements, and work closely with internal stakeholders to support efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and manage client invoices for designated business units and stakeholders on both recurring and as-needed schedules.
• Establish and maintain customer and project-related billing records within the company's financial management platform, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
• Verify that all invoices align with contractual requirements, customer billing instructions, and internal policies.
• Partner with operational leaders and administrative staff to revise, validate, and finalize billing submissions.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, adjustments, account corrections, and billing exceptions.
• Process non-standard billing requests, customized invoicing formats, and alternative pricing arrangements.
• Protect sensitive financial and client information while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Assist with special projects and additional accounting functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Minimum of three years of experience in billing, revenue operations, accounts receivable, or a similar finance-related function.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to utilize data analysis tools such as lookup formulas and pivot reporting.
• Knowledge of complex billing processes, customer invoicing requirements, and contract-based billing practices.
• Experience working with enterprise financial, ERP, or billing management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated professional who can work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining a high level of organization.
