Surgical Technician

Job Description Job Description The Virginia Beach SPCA (VBSPCA) Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The VBSPCA is a full-service clinic that focuses on high-volume spay/neuter, dental procedures, specialty surgeries, and routine veterinary care.

This position will primarily be a surgical technician scheduled for surgeries, dental procedures, and on our mobile spay/neuter vehicle, the Neuter Scooter. This position may be scheduled in our main clinic and/or satellite clinic as needed to maintain operations.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
1 year of LVT licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia

1 year of surgical and anesthesia experience

The VBSPCA Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, Saturday from 8am to 3pm, and closed on Sundays.

Full-Time positions are 32-40 hours a week.

Pay Rate: $25 - $28 an hour based on experience and skill
