Pipe Layer/Construction Laborer

Pay : $25/hour

Location : Based in York PA

Job Type : Full time

This position is with a reputable and large General Contractor based out of York PA. They complete new construction projects for both Commercial and Civil job sites. They have both a site (pipe/utilities) and industrial division, and typically will do projects within 1.5 hour radius of York PA. There is no overnight stay or travel, you will be home every night working 40-50 hours a week, with weekly paychecks and a competitive benefits package included.

• Underground utility installation, including pipe laying, trenching, and grading support for civil and commercial construction projects.
• Perform general site preparation activities such as digging holes, excavating trenches, and supporting earthwork operations.
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently at job sites and the shop.
• Support heavy equipment operators and other skilled trades on active job sites by providing labor assistance and spotter support as needed.

• Minimum 1+ year of construction labor experience, preferably in civil or site work environments.
• Hands-on experience with pipe laying, including utility lines, installing water lines, and sewer lines.
• Experience digging trenches and performing excavation-related tasks on construction sites.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and varying site conditions.
• Experience with running equipment such as haul truck, dozer, or dump truck on site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
