Join Our Team as a Delivery Driver!

R/S Electric Motors is seeking a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver to support our motor repair and service operations. This role is responsible for delivering and picking up electric motors, parts, and materials while providing exceptional customer service and representing the company in a professional manner. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety conscious, detail oriented, and eager to grow their career within the electric motor industry.

This position offers excellent opportunities for advancement, including hands-on exposure to motor repair operations and potential career growth within the Motors department.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up electric motors, parts, and equipment from customers, vendors, and job sites.
• Safely load, unload, transport, and secure materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all loads are properly strapped, secured, and transported according to safety standards.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized company vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members regarding deliveries and pickups.
• Provide outstanding customer service as a professional representative of R/S Electric Motors.
• Verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Assist with warehouse, inventory, and shop support activities as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT requirements as applicable.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing 75-100 pounds with or without assistance.
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow directions and prioritize safety.
• Demonstrates good judgment, common sense, and accountability.
• Comfortable working independently and managing daily delivery schedules.
• Mechanical aptitude or interest in electric motors is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
