Emergency Room Nurse

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Guaranteed Hours) Charting System: Epic Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to work nights in a high‑volume, urban Level I Trauma Center within a teaching hospital environment. The RN will provide critical, fast‑paced emergency care to patients across the lifespan while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams. Teaching Hospital: Preferred Daily ED Volume: ~120 visits/day ED Rooms: 34 Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating: Yes Block Scheduling: Not accommodated Required Experience Minimum 1 year Emergency Department RN experience Prior experience in an urban Level I Trauma ED – REQUIRED Less than 2 years of experience accepted Teaching hospital experience preferred No prior travel experience required Required Certifications BLS ACL PALS
